Ashley and Anders have created the most beautiful life with these adorable kiddos!! I’ve loved watching them grow through the years, and the challenge of getting them to smile at me 😅 this year i SUCCEEDED! Look how darn cute these are!

Perfect for families who want to update photos, while being warm and cozy, but don’t want 100% holiday vibes. I got you!! These are the perfect example and I love them! No runny noses from being cold, no mud all over their nice clothes, and they can run around and be as loud as they want!

Nope, definitely not.

I’ll always be obsessed with beach photos! Did you know there’s a beautiful beach only a little over an hour from Eugene? And it’s good any time of year! Win win win!

Did you also know that I offer anonymous releases for photos? Maybe you don’t want your face, or your kiddos faces online? I take shots that keep that from happening but you can still post beautiful photos!

Well, that was the craziest wedding weather experience I’ve ever had

Saturday August 17th started out beautiful. I showed up to Erika and Jake’s venue when the clouds were just starting to form. Within an hour we had a rain shower and our first clap of thunder and flash of lightning. Nerves started growing when there were no breaks in the rain, which turned into a straight downpour. Which also meant we had to get creative for the first looks, didn’t get to do any of the planned photos before the ceremony, and even had to move the whole ceremony under tents a few minutes before it started. Erika walked under umbrellas to the tents where she walked to her nuptials with Jake. It absolutely continued to pour the whole time. Within seconds of them saying I do, and kissing, the rain completely stopped and we even started to see blue sky in the breaks in the clouds. Okay?! Oregon was showing off its true Oregon side with every weather style it can have in one day.

By the grace of God the weather totally cleared and it turned in to the most beautiful evening. It did turn in to us rushing to complete all the photos, but we did it!!

Just goes to show you that things may not always go as planned on your day, but you have a whole team of vendors by your side to make things run as smoothly as possible!

Also, Jake and Erika were graced with ALL the luck if the rain on your wedding day saying is still true!

Kat and Marcel flew all the way from Germany to have a destination wedding here! Why eugene you ask? Kat was an exchange student here in high school! Life really came full circle when she got married at her host parents property with them, and her family present! She even had her beautiful best friend @shelbie.litty walk her down the aisle! It was just the most intimate, laid back, and fun evening, and I’m so glad that was invited to be a part of it!

I do exist! Life has been busy busy for my family the last 2 months, so I’ve been pretty absent on here. But, I’m back!

Brittany and Kaleb are expecting their miracle baby. This shoot has a funny story - last week we started the shoot, only to be swarmed by mosquitos!! I have never seen that many, or been bit by that many mosquitos in my life! We made the decision to resume the shoot a few days later after we doused ourselves in bug spray… and it worked, and we made absolute magic! Doesn’t Brittany just look so, so gorgeous?! Can you believe she even hopped in the river?! Swoon!

I’m living for these warm golden evenings.

This is one of the most special posts I’ve made!!

About a month ago my amazing sister in laws long time boyfriend called me and told me he wanted to propose in her favorite town, and had to have me capture it!! I quickly started brainstorming and asked my sister in law to have her and her boyfriend “model” for me so we could keep the proposal a surprise. Luckily, she agreed, and the planning commenced. All the stars aligned and the custom made ring from @skeiesjewelers would be ready by our planned date. Aidan had Hope’s ring custom made by them because he knew that’s what she always had dreamed of. Even her moms ring was custom made from there as well! So this was super special. The weather at Agate Beach in Newport showed straight sun, and almost 60 degrees - unheard of in May in Newport! When we arrived it was so incredibly windy, but so beautiful!

We started off the session with just cute couples poses, and then the moment came, and even in complete shock, she said yes!!!
